Effects of short-term snuff
The Colombian Heart Foundation speaks of ten effects on the body of a smoker:
1. Infections in the nose, throat and larynx (upper airway). Infections in the lower respiratory tract such as pneumonia and bronchitis.
2. Increased heart rate and blood pressure.
3. Reduced physical condition.
4. The teeth begin to change color to a yellowish hue.
5. Risk of dental caries by increased plaque.
6. fingers and nails turn yellow.
7. Appearance of wrinkles in the face by the decrease in skin hydration.
8. Decrease of smell and taste.
9. Bad breath.
10. Bad body odor, including hair.
